This is clear from the meaning of 'the rain', at this point rain which took the form of hail, as falsities, dealt with in 7553, 7574; and from the meaning of 'not poured out on the earth' as the fact that they - the falsities meant by the rain in the form of hail - came to an end and so did not make their appearance.
