A spiritual perception made it known to me that they who are merciful and innocent invite all the good who are in their society to love them, and so move them that they wish better to them* than to themselves and love them* from all their heart and all their soul. For innocence and mercy is the Lord, and the Lord inspires from Himself, in endless variety, all the good, thus good spirits and angels.
